Med Exchange International Opens San Diego Office as Business Expands

Med Exchange International, Inc. has opened a new office in San Diego, California. The new location will provide service to customers on the west coast and help meet the increasing demands of diagnostic imaging equipment needed in Mexico, South America, and Eastern Europe. Med Exchange president Mike Timon will head the new office located on 3990 Old Towne Ave, Suite A206. 

We have seen a rapidly increasing demand for previously owned medical equipment in the United States as well as other parts of the world over the past few years, said Timon. Demand has been particularly strong for multi-sliced CT scanners and short bore MRIs from GE Healthcare, Siemens Medical Solutions, Toshiba of America Medical Systems, and Philips, he said.

Med Exchange also announces the addition of Davyn McGuire as sales manager of Med Exchange International. He will be responsible for the sales of used multiple modality radiology equipment, including ultrasounds and nuclear medicine as well as marketing, business development, and vendor relations for trade-in equipment. McGuire has extensive experience in sales, marketing and business development within the Information Technology, Storage Area Networking, and Internet industries. McGuire is a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago and will be located at the Med Exchange headquarters in Agawam, Massachusetts.

Med Exchange International, Inc. buys and sells radiology and imaging equipment from hospitals, MRI centers, veterinarians, brokers and leasing companies throughout the world.
